0. Intro to the program

Apart Research and Martian are running a global, >48 h hackathon focused on building automated “judges” that evaluate LLM outputs and “routers” that dispatch user queries to the safest/cheapest model. Dates: Friday 30 May – Sunday 1 June 2025.

Our proposal is to operate the official Buenos Aires Jam Site at Aleph Hub (Palermo, CABA). We will:

  • Host 20‑30 participants in person with whole-day access, Wi‑Fi, breakout rooms;
  • Run a lightning‑talk kickoff, and encourage internal group division;
  • Provide snacks/coffee, quiet rest areas, and sponsored API credits from Martian;

2. Program Goal and Alignment with Crecimiento

  • Goals:
    • Make real contributions to the AI Safety research community by having impactful submissions.
    • Upskill participants on AI Safety research skills by taking on a weekend-long project, making them more eligible for applying to opportunities in the AI Safety field.
    • Expand the community by increasing engagement of current participants, and getting other people interested both in AI and AI Safety.
    • Showcase Aleph Hub as the nucleus for AI research and innovation.
