Ecosystem Program Proposal

Crecimiento Argentina + ADN: Accelerating Web3 Adoption

prepared by: Alex Pestchanker, apestchanker@gmail.com

Intro to the Program

Argentina Digital Nation (ADN) (www.adn.events) is an annual event and movement that aims to lower adoption barriers for the main Web3 technologies Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence. Through this conference, workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, ADN brings government officials, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, developers, academics, and community enthusiasts together to share insights and collaborate.

In its first edition (2024), ADN gathered more than 500 attendees and 37 speakers/panelists. These included government representatives (e.g., Argentinean Presidency, Buenos Aires City officials, Congress members and a Mayor), corporate executives (Google Cloud, Globant, Banco Provincia), academic leaders (ITBA, UCEMA, UBA, UTN), and prominent Web3 and AI entrepreneurs (Charles Hoskinson, Kamanu, Santi Siri, Ragaco, Naty Shi, Diego Zaldivar) . ADN attracted different sponsors (IOG, Intersect, Token Allies, Globant, BitGet, TxPipe, and others) and many media posts and coverage.

We are ready for our 2025 edition and already secure some partnerships with Japan, to make a joint effort to attract Japanese investors and attendees and to foster Argentinean participation in a big event in October to be done there.

We are thrilled by this opportunity to join forces with Crecimiento Argentina as we have a shared vision and we both seek to create a movement focused on driving blockchain and AI adoption, fostering startup creation, promoting education, influencing regulatory improvements, and establishing a culture of entrepreneurship for economic growth so Argentina can really take advantage of this unique opportunity that could setup or nation as a global hub in Blockchain and AI.

The purpose of this Ecosystem Program is to formally unite ADN and Crecimiento Argentina to accelerate Web3 adoption, foster technological innovation, upskill and position Argentinian talent, and strengthen the broader blockchain and AI ecosystems.

By combining resources, networks, and expertise, we will create an expanded, year-round program that drives tangible impact, new startups, stronger product growth, improved regulatory frameworks, and a deepened tech community culture in Argentina.

Hi @apestchanker

First of all, we truly appreciate the time and effort you and your team put into this proposal. It’s clear that ADN is a well-thought-out initiative with strong potential to drive blockchain and AI adoption in Argentina. Your track record, commitment, and the 2024 event’s success are remarkable, and it’s inspiring to see the momentum you are building for the upcoming edition.

After careful consideration, we’ve concluded that we won’t be able to move forward with this collaboration within the Crecimiento Support Program, at this time. There are a few key factors influencing our decision:

  1. Crecimiento can’t commit to extensively supporting other activations as it would put at risk our own roadmap: While ADN’s mission aligns broadly with our goals, Crecimiento already has an extensive roadmap for 2025 with significant initiatives planned around the same time as your main event. Given our current commitments, we need to ensure our focus remains on these core initiatives.
  2. Resource Allocation & Feasibility: Supporting ADN as an official Ecosystem Program would require a level of operational and strategic involvement that, at this stage, we are unable to provide without diverting resources from existing programs. We want to ensure that every initiative we back receives the full attention and support it deserves.

That being said, we encourage you to keep moving forward with ADN independently. We recognize the value of what you are building and the impact it can generate for the ecosystem. While we won’t be moving forward under the CSP framework, we remain open to informal collaboration opportunities, should the right alignment arise.

Additionally, as part of our Pop Up City event in March, we have an open calendar for Side Events, where different ecosystem players can contribute and showcase their initiatives. If it’s of interest, we’d be happy to see ADN within this framework.

Let’s stay in touch as we continue working towards a stronger and more innovative crypto ecosystem in Argentina.

Best regards,
LaĂn,
from The Crecimiento Team
