I come forward to the Crecimiento Support Program to propose a series of collaborative events between two of the most antique onchain LATAM artists collectives: the Brazilian artist collective SEED and Newtro, an Argentinian-based web3 art collective, to take place in February 2025. These events will explore the intersection of web3 and contemporary art, bringing together artists from both communities to foster dialogue, learning, and creative collaborations.

Given Crecimiento Hub’s alignment with the crypto and web3 space, we believe it is the ideal venue to host these events, which will a series of talks and workshops for artists and culture lovers.

Event Overview:

Dates: February 10–14, 2025 / For the workshops and talks we will need 2 days max.
Participants: 12 Brazilian artists from SEED collective and Newtro’s artists collective.
Proposed Venue: Crecimiento Hub, Buenos Aires

Proposed Schedule:

Feb 10-14:
A series of panel discussions and workshops on the role of Latin American artists in the evolving web3 space. These will culminate in the creation of a collaborative manifesto, capturing the collective perspectives of both groups regarding the intersection of web3 and the arts. We are requesting the use of Crecimiento Hub’s facilities to host these activities. We believe that the innovative environment of Crecimiento would provide the perfect backdrop for these forward-thinking discussions and collaborations.

On Feb 15 we will also host a private exhibition as the culmination of this experience.

Outcomes:

  1. Artistic Collaborations:
    As a result of the workshops, we aim to create two NFT collections on the Objkt marketplace.
    -Open Collection- : Featuring editions from all participating artists, intended to raise funds for the event.
    -1/1 Collaborative Collection- : Featuring unique collaborative pieces between select artists from both collectives.

  2. Manifesto Creation:
    A written document reflecting the insights and conclusions from the panels and discussions, which will articulate our shared vision for the future of web3 and its impact on the arts.

  3. Content and AV media coverage + press release:
    We will register everything for social media content (where Crecimiento will be highlighted as a hub for onchain culture in Argentina). We also aim to make a press release after the whole experience (any tip on who we could contact for this, is well received!)

Request:

We kindly request the use of Crecimiento Hub’s space for as much as 2 days, in the range of February 10 to 14 for the panel discussions and workshops. The big ir even the small auditorium should be enough for the talks, and 1 or 2 offices with a TV screen should be enough for the workshops (it could even work with the auditoriums)

Our event aligns with Crecimiento’s mission to foster creativity, innovation, and collaboration within the crypto and web3 communities. Hosting this event at Crecimiento will not only spotlight the space but also connect its community to a broader network of Latin American artists and web3 innovators.
